Book Review: "No More Words" By Kerry Lonsdale

Remarkable! Incredible! Exhilirating new read by Kerry Lonsdale!!

I'm a huge fan of Kerry Lonsdale's work over the years and in her newest creation we see her brilliance shine through with lively characters, emotional appeals, thickening plots, with plenty of mystery and suspense that will chill you like no other!

The way in which she crafted this was nothing short of amazing as we encounter a broken family.

Olivia is the eldest, followed by Lucas, and then Lily. The father is abusive. The mother is suffering from said abuse in many forms. The remainder of the family is shrouded by secrets-long ago tucked away- with thirty years of history or more.

That history comes into play with a neighbors murder that had the father listed as a suspect however he's never been charged due to having an alibi.

Could something far more disturbing have occurred and the family been kept moot all these years?

Who killed Benton is at the center of this debate but first there's many issues that need to be addressed-so don't put the cart before the horse - just yet!

There's multiple affairs on many fronts! Countless hours of family drama with a teen pregnancy -a child named Josh (Lily's son) suffering from Asphasia (limited talking/jumbled words) and several shady relationships that are on-going.

As if this wasn't enough, to capture the spine tingling sensations we add that the father and mother also seem to be wrestling with their own inner demons. Demons that are about to take down this family in one hell of a scandal.

Lily has so much on her plate as she ponders whether to have an abortion, adopt, or become a run away all around one central time frame. Her decision affects everyone including her sister Olivia who has no idea what to do should she become the caretaker of Josh as his needs are unlike anything she's ever dealt with requiring specialized care.

To further exacerbate the situation we have a nightmare that never ends. That was involving a horrific remembrance of some specific events upon a child. Josh who can barely speak but know's that he suffered greatly possibly at the hands of another person. A family in turmoil from the inside out.

My word I've never been more excited to read a book like I have for this one. Not just because Kerry is a fab writer and talented author but because she places so much emphasis on quality not quantity. Her writing moves you to tears and never lets up. You are literally transported to places within each of her novels.

One thing to note is that the DNA of a family cannot be denied but in some cases you wish you could alter it or at least tweak it a bit.

Keep that in mind when you read this splendid new gem by Kerry Lonsdale with an ending that's grand and sure to be recalled long after the last page has been read!!
Thank you so much to Kerry, the pub Lake Union Authors, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.

Immediately upon receiving I placed this on my Must Reads TBR and tossed all others aside to get this exclusive review up and running.

I hope you too enjoy No More Words!
