Book Review: "Inheritance of Secrets" By Sonya Bates

A strong novel showcasing the fact that you cannot run away from your past but perhaps you can tuck it away in hiding for years.

The key has been found, the shop located, but opening Pandora's box would do more than one person harm and quite frankly who'd want to ruin so many lives after all this time has come to pass?

That's the key question posed after locating the documents yet what good would it do to now confess in telling truths? Would it alter or change anything significantly from what's been revealed?

Inheritance of Secrets was a whirlwind of excitement both engaging in sweeping historical aspects to the chilling depths as a thriller within the fiction genre.

I'm in awe of how Bates kept this dual time frame playing out between Juliet and Karl Weiss with the signet ring taking a back seat approach to the more disturbing sequence of events revolving around her sis Lily fearful of her life only to vanish.
Disturbing secrets are about to come to life that will damage and destroy both sisters lives as we know it if their not careful.

This was scary, dangerous, and heartfelt in the end with discussions about WWII, the Nazi's, and so much more from that period of history.

It had me on edge being concerned for everyone's safety.
A great read!
