Book Review: "You Will Remember Me" By Hannah Mary McKinnon

Forget the truth. Remember the lies.

Or try this on for size.

Never forget. Never forgive!

This is so mind blowing as it was superbly crafted, extremely well written, and beyond all human comprehension.

Many of you know I'm a victim of a malignant narcissist who put me through every form of abuse including financial, emotional, psychological, physical, verbal, sexual, and religious. Yet, this book was like a trigger magnet in which those same emotions flood back with these mental mind games, manipulation, threats, intimidation, fear, and the ultimate fight or flight responses.

In this case, we have Lily & her boyfriend Jack who happens to go missing and is presumed dead for all intense purposes. We also have Maya and her estranged step brother Asher (Ash) whose also missing.

What precedes this and what comes after is a whirl wind of accusations, interesting tid-bits of past history, a trail of destruction, deceit, betrayal, and LIES!

The players are going to play but my word this gives me the creeps...

Hannah Mary McKinnon literally wrote this in a way that made me feel every bitter emotion, every con artists dreams, every livid detail and then some!

The settings with cliffs, water, and darkness including at one point a trap door just continued with the dramatic element of disguise and disgust if you will allow that to enter into the scenes.

What a fab read with plenty of heart pounding non-stop excruciating fine tooth details that will make your hair stand on end!

The back stabbing, the jealousy, the rage, the mental capacity to understand right from wrong will all be in play and will certainly be questioned to the hilt.

What's fact is someone killed Celine. Someone knows about a butterfly pendant. Someone knows about the affairs. Someone knows the TRUTH!

In the end it's a knock down brutal assault with plenty of commentary and plenty of FACTS!

Where is Jack? Is he alive or dead? That's the central focal point but in addition you may want to ponder the other remaining questions such as what does Ash remember after his incident?

What lengths will Maya go to keep her secrets hidden?
Will anyone have to account or repent for their sins?
What about Lily and her function in all this as someone clearly has to help this poor woman find her missing boyfriend...or will the tables be turned.

Will the hunted become the hunter?
Will the victim become the perpetrator?
The stakes are high. The cliffs are higher....YIKES! Don't look down! Don't look back! Keep moving forward! Don't stop running...
.

It's been 16 years but he/she may just wait 16 more years for it all to be finalized and that my friends is one sick S.O.B!

The details on this are wicked Bloody brilliant!

Thank you to Hannah, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
