Book Review: "The Arrangement" By Miranda Rijks

They say, "Revenge is Sweet" but is it really?...

Imagine this scary as all heck scenario....

A dream vacation-a young female student/daughter-a murder?

These poor parents, how will they cope, how will this family survive, how will they honor Abi's legacy?

How could this happen to beloved Abi and her parents Grace and ex spouse Bob?

Do you truly know your kids ? It's 10 pm do you know where your kids are?...(this slogan was from a famous ad that drove us all nuts here in Northeastern Pa)

Every parents worst nightmare just went down and now it's time to uncover and unravel this intricately laced cobweb of lies, deceit, trickery, manipulation, and mayhem.

Bring on the psychiatrist Dr. William Jennings as clearly he'll be able to make sense of it.

Oh,...Breaking News! This just in! It's appears that Mr. Jennings has passed away!

Wait...REPEAT ....

Yes, and along with this information is two more additional bombshells of information -the first dealing with sexual favors, dark web, and dirty underground play with the latter dealing with buns in the oven.

Well, look it's not uncommon to date way beyond your age range but this is more like a sickness that a moral dilemma.

Add to this more pieces to this twisty puzzle with insane and revolutionary speed and we have one hidden disaster after another.

Who will speak up against affairs of the heart, mind, and body?

Wait? What? Natasha is in the house?

Oh, ok-she's Grace's friend and I'm sure she'll have more to add especially since she lost her own daughter.

Remember what I said about revenge, it comes like a train, blazing fast, and swirling out of control, off the rails.

Silly me-I forgot to mention Ella- you know the other sister- the one that is....

OH SNAP!

She's now missing too?

For the love!

Calm down everyone-Clearly there's an explanation, right?! HelloooooooOO?!

They also used to say 'a coat of many colors' - don't forget that one either as it pertains to this story quite nicely.

Look the fog is so thick that I can hardly see where this train wreck is headed but I sure as heck know how it ends and it's a wild ride.

Buckle up it's bumpy ahead!!

Thank you to Miranda, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
