Book Review: "Final Second" By John Ryder

If you've not yet read -First Shot- give it a try prior to reading this second in the Grant Fletcher Thriller Series as you won't be disappointed as you can find my review linked with this review.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Now on to the show:

We are headed out to rural Wisconsin farming territory with a serial killer on the loose.
This second novel was quite the appealing slayer of reads as it's woven between Grant Fletcher and Guadrado with nobody left behind.

John Ryder has worked a farmer's wife's murder into this new framework that is completely different from the First Shot.

As you can see I'm a huge fan of the debut, was blessed to work on the First Shot Bookouture Blog Tour with them, and have immensely enjoyed this because of the everyone of his thrillers are laid out.

They begin cautiously, slowly, sizzling to a boil and then they pounce in every direction.
The issues get hot and become hotter with each passing clue as this modus operandi in numbering victims foreheads stands out.

Who could behind such a landscape of terror?

Speaking of landscape is there anything else beyond farming that might be in play here?
I reside in Northeastern Pennsylvania which is noted for more than just fracking, corruption, and horrible infrastructure...we were once a booming coal industry.

Could this be a similar situation of those bygone days...and that need to literally strike gold?!
My word this tingled me from my head to my toes.

I'm a firm believer in this new author and look forward to the next stunning surprise to come my way.

I'm so glad another tweeter mentioned this book as I had no idea a new one was out so soon after First Shot.

I jumped on the chance to grab a copy at NetGalley and I hope you find this review well, and feel motivated to grab yourself a copy.

Thank you to John Ryder, Bookouture, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
