Book Review: "Road Out of Winter" By Alison Stine

A new world is upon us and with this comes uncertainties, fear, and worries but for Wylodine it also brings hope.

Hope is the connector and she must now make her own way in a cruel, harsh, and depressing world by growing weed.

An extreme winter refuses to let up leading to Spring never arriving, depression forming upon residents, and cults coming out of the rural woodwork.

Icy roads are making things even more dangerous but navigating the roads is much like navigating life.

What better way to accomplish goals than to reach out and take chances by moving to California with her tiny house hooked up to the back of her truck with some grow lights and pumpkin seeds in tow.

The violence, the community apocalypse, the terrors and night sweats are now real as the intensity builds with new misfits withing each new location along the way.

The desperation, the fight or flight, the trauma leads to a life of hard knocks that leaves Wil with an edge and cut above the rest.

It's a fab new read and I'm honored to be able to write this review for the Harlequin Blog Tour.

Thank you so much for this wonderful ARC in exchange for this honest review.

I hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy this new piece by Alison Stine.
