Book Review: "Almost Just Friends" By Jill Shalvis

Do you really know your family as well as you'd like to believe?

Have you ever considered returning to the homestead after a lengthy departure?

Jill Shalvis has readers pondering these questions and so much more in Almost Just Friends with

relatable characters, passionate relationships,& several heated discussions.

As a newbie reader/blogger/reviewer/writer- I've read a number of her more recent pieces and I have to say this left me a bit salty.

For good reason-because while reading the intro you'd think this would be all about Piper, her determination to sell the estate, the family affairs, and her new relationship with Cam.

Instead, we have a wider net to cast here to fulfill the desires of Gavin/Cj while also playing the fiddle to the panic and anxiety displayed by Piper.

It's a hodge-podge of mixtures that ultimately creates this lovely uniformity within this family.
Everyone seems to take away something from the dynamics in force and yet finding love may still be the end of this rainbow.

I hope everyone is staying safe in these trying times and enjoying as many reads as they can.
Till we meet again.
