Book Review: "The Dazzling Truth" By Helen Cullen

I was truly captivated by this book for a multitude of reasons as the author does a fine job of providing the basics of this not so normal family struggling with powerful and riveting times.

It bounces between two time frames the 70's from thirty years earlier when Mauve and Murtaugh met as college artists to the present in which each family member must find solice not only for themselves but each other.

It's a reflection of counting your blessings, feelings of gratitude, but also love of not only life but those near and dear.

Relationships aren't always formed from the same cloth but it's through love, mutual understanding, commitment, communication, and acceptance that we learn to accept our differences and begin to be open and honest to what may come our way.

This is the story of tragedy, of loss, and of love with hope on the horizon for a brighter future.

I cannot imagine how this originally felt contrived and too neatly packed but then it opened up wide and swallowed me whole.

It's one of those books that truly will linger in your memory banks way after the last page is turned.

The future is never guaranteed nor does it come with instructions. It's a masterpiece of trials and tribulations that form the scars that ultimately make us appreciate those falls that much more.

I'm so honored to have been able to promote this lovely new read for Harlequin Trade Publishing Blog Tour and I hope you find this review to your liking.

This was truly a must read by Helen Cullen who has superbly crafted a book like no other.
