Book Review: "Walk the Wire" By David Baldacci

Teacher by day and prostitute by night is just how this story incorporates North Dakota's people while frantically forging new opportunities with fracking -which is anything but glamorous.

I live in Luzerne County Pennsylvania-I've lost friends to fracking not once but twice- anything that deals with this so called 'gold rush' is anything but golden.

With this noted, I will say this book dealt with two different plots.

The first centered upon a deadly love story while the second dealt with this military base being utilized by government employees for personal gain.

This is the 6th in the Amos Decker Series and 5.5 in the Will Robie Series.

I've read numerous books by Baldacci and this one just didn't join up to the level I'd expected and grown accustomed too.

Large guns, conspiracy theories, military precision, murder, prostitution, drugs, and more take the center of the platform.

The race to solve the mysteries surrounding the base using Will, Jessica, Blue Man and more are now in full force.

Hang on tight...

A good read by David Baldacci that could've used a bit more connection between the two dueling stories.
