Safe By SK Barnett has so much suspense, mystery, and intrigue that's hard to know where to begin to even tell the story. What appears as a horrific kidnapping of a 6 year old child and daughter turns into another nightmare when she reappears or so we believe -12 years later! The parents or at least one of them doesn't feel this is Jenny -their own daughter. In fact, the way this story proceeds is optimistically cautious because there's way more to it than meets the eye. Literally and figuratively there's an entire 'iceberg' underneath; an iceberg that carries deadly secrets not only about Jenny but about other members of this family. YIKES!! Say it ain't so... Oh, it's and it's disturbing, chilling, and heartbreaking but also the perfect thriller! Thank you to S.K.
