Malorie-Darling...You're front and center -Now what?
Oh, wait...Malorie if you recall from Netflix or the book is rowing her way up river for survival in the original Bird Box with her kids blindfolded.
Someone now near and dear to her heart may still be alive...
Creatures are feared with now monstrous inventions...
Do we take the chance and venture out or stay safe and survive?
The whole premise is a bit weird, it's slow to start for my taste, and the idea surrounding the blind train...well, I can't go there but I wasn't drawn into this whole scenario as it felt there's something missing.
The family is at the heart of it all but with this said the idea about the creatures playing a bigger role just didn't fit well as it felt empty and barren much like a deserted idea.
The ending was just like ok -as it relates to sleeping issue -it's over-but nothing related to the original premise being that creatures were feared to have been the result of such tragedy (ies).
Well I hope you find this well.
Thank you to Bibliotheca for this E-read in exchange for this honest review.
