Book Review: "The Silent Wife" By Karin Slaughter

What a treat to be able to read this new work by Karin Slaughter.

As a newbie reviewer and blogger I've only read the newest editions so I'm not to familiar with the characters backgrounds but it still stood well on its own for me.

This being said I enjoyed the premise of a murder with similar MO to a man sitting in prison accused of such past crimes.

Of course, he claims innocence but it's up to those in power to release him from this nightmare.

Meanwhile, there's a serial killer running loose -paralyzing women, raping them, and leaving them for dead.

Did I mention the sicko leaves them with the hopes of his return?
OMG!

If this isn't awful enough we also have mutilated and tortured bodies -19 women in all-13 jurisdictions-with drugs as the central theme throughout each modus operandi.

This creep must be caught but as we've seen first we must go through the motions of police procedure, and due process rights, plus we have to re-visit the romance department with Will and Sara.

The backstory with Jeffrey was quite an interesting perspective as well for fans of Karin Slaughter and she promises more is down the road.

I can't wait to see what more she drums up ...

Till we meet again.
