Book Review: "House Privilege" By Mike Lawson

A great read based on power players behind hedge and trust funds.

Mike Lawson is at it again, this time with DeMarco's employer (John Mahoney) aka Congressman who just gained custody of his 15 yo goddaughter Cassie as he sends DeMarco to evaluate a horrific accident.

It turns out Cassie is the lone survivor of a plane crash that killed everyone on board including her wealthy parents.

DeMarco planned to tell Mahoney to let Erin run Cassie's finances of behalf of the Russell's estate with just one problem-she doesn't seem reliable or trust worthy.

DeMarco's continues to put pressure upon Erin who appears to have a ton of explaining and plenty to hide.

Cassie has warmed the cockles of DeMarco's heart and he will do whatever necessary to protect her and the money in play.

Money talks and bs walks and this is one of those fascinating 'edge of your seat' reads that you won't soon forget.

A tremendous amount of blackmailing, corruption, and power struggles is at the root of it all and hopefully with some luck the truth will come out.

Thank you to Mike, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
