Book Review: "The Patient" By Jasper DeWitt

Driven to madness or nature v nurture debate?

Here we have an interesting take with a psychiatrist who wants to take on the world after his inability to cure his own schizophrenic mother.

Parker has his work cut out for him with Joe because anyone who tried to help was driven mad.
Joe swears he sees monsters in the walls but nobody sees them including his own cellmates.

This story progresses like an out of control train taking in all the sights, scenes, and ever thickening plots.

The fact that Joe assaulted two people is also a high concern and top priority and this may stem from his own childhood with his father who can only be described as a sadist.
Parker meets and interviews this patient and things start to change.

Can he truly be cured? Will Parker fall prey and become another victim or stat?
Will the madness ever end?

Fast paced, horrifying, and chilling all wrapped into one splendid gem.

Thank you to Jasper, the pub, NetGalley, and Amazon Kindle for this ARC in exchange for this honest review.
