This one has put me on the fence literally and figuratively as I enjoyed it but perhaps not as much as with Baby Teeth.

On that note it was good and I'm going with four stars because it kept me entertained but in a bizarre and weird feel good way.

If that even makes sense...

Ok, so what we have is a family that's in turmoil after one of them is killed.

Now, you'd think that it was the end of end all's but not so fast because animal form makes a debut with the younger children standing by to witness it all.

After all the mother is retired and the father is ready to spread his wings with his paintings but perhaps the trees in upstate NY are giving off vibes that aren't so welcoming.

This is dark, dreary, and delicious all in the same breath.

One thing is noted the family has two children who also play supporting roles here and especially Eleanor Queen with her friend --you could say-- as they become more acquainted but in a much deeper way.

Remember, I did say it was dark so don't shoot the messenger...speaking of shooting...oh nevermind.

You'll have to read this and find out more for yourself.

Thank you again to my local libraries for this wonderful Curbside Pickup Read.
