It’s that or die."Honestly, I can't add much more to this other than it was slow to build, didn't leave any take-aways, was predictable, and didn't stand out for those who read numerous thrillers per year.
With this noted, it was good not great, it had a few twists, it involves gangsters, rape, forced marriages, and abuse.
All in all it was a book that was the first in the Merrow and Clarke, so I'm looking ahead to what more this author may reveal.
